Background

The Ayrshire Engineering Alliance (AEA) was set up in 2013 to act as the key industry organisation in the Ayrshire region, representing and uniting companies and organisations involved in the engineering sector supply chain.

In 2016 the AEA was established as a not-for-profit organisation, registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee, which will widen its influence both within and outwith Ayrshire and represent the views of its members and the wider sector at regional,
national and international levels to help shape the industry for the future.

The Ayrshire Engineering Alliance supports growth within the local engineering sector, through the provision of direct company support, collective marketing and promotion and increased collaboration within the local, national and global sectors.
